The integrated-with-solar angle
If you're getting solar installed within two years of when you'd otherwise need to re-roof, do them together under one contract. The array pierces the roof in a dozen places; if the roof underneath fails five years later, removing the array to redo the roof costs more than the roof did.
We plan the mounting locations before the underlayment goes down. Fewer penetrations, better flashing, and one warranty conversation instead of two.

Roof scope timelines depend heavily on the roofing material and structural work required. Composition-to-composition re-roofs typically run 1–2 weeks.
